Music brings me inspiration, hope and calms my soul. If I could have music playing 24 hours a day, I probably would. After I look back at CD’s and play lists I have made over the months/years, I can usually tell what kind of mood I was in during that time. Songs I listen to and music I seek, are reflections of myself and how I express my emotions at times. Listening to music such as “Hope 1 Mile” or “I Won’t Let Go” brings me to a place that I can let go of what is or could be bothering me.
Music and poems also give me inspiration in my writing of books, blogs and other articles. I have enjoyed listening to music since the day I can remember my first cassette tape. I always thought at some point, I would turn down the music and not be so passionate about it, but as the years have passed, I have become more passionate about it. I use music as a coping strategy and an inspirational strategy to stay motivated in life and I am not sure what I would do without it.
Here is a list of 8 songs that I truly enjoy listening to and brings me inspiration. I hope you can find them inspirational as well.
